About this Holiday Cottage
This 18th century holiday cottage offers luxury self catering accommodation for 6 people. It is situated in an elevated position above the Conwy Valley, 1½ miles by car from Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park. Alternatively you can take the ½ mile walk along a scenic forest track to get to the village of Betws-y-Coed.
Upstairs: The cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms with 5' bed and 1 twin room. One of the double bedrooms has an en-suite shower room. There is also a bathroom with WC, basin and bath.
Downstairs: There is a fully equipped kitchen/diner with granite worktop, and french doors leading out to the garden. There is a Nespresso coffee machine (please bring extra Nespresso or compatible pods). The comfortable lounge has an original inglenook fireplace and woodburning stove. There is also a games room with pool table and TV.
Outside: There is ample private parking for up to 3 cars to the front of the property. The garden enjoys views along the Conwy Valley and there is an outside seating area, gas barbecue and fire pit. Storage is available for mountain bikes.
1 small or medium dog is allowed. Due to the rural nature of this property the owner cannot guarantee the garden is fully enclosed. There are also sheep in the neighbouring field - so a dog would need to be on lead when outside.
The cottage has an Electric Vehicle Charging station. Contact us before arrival if you would like to use one - there is a charge for their use.
The cottage is located in a peaceful spot at the edge of the Gwydir Forest just outside the village of Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park. This is an excellent cottage for walkers or mountain biking. There are numerous walks that start from the cottage, and the well-known Gwydir Mawr & Bach Trails (formerly Marin Trail) for mountain biking are less than a mile away. Alternatively you can just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet and stunning local scenery.
