Pengwern is a large county house that sleeps 10 and has been renovated to the highest standard..combining the old with the new with antiques and modern designer pieces. It’s located between the market town of Llanrwst (.75 miles) and the popular village of Betws-y-Coed (3miles), just on the border of the Snowdonia National Park and on the doorstep of the lovely Gwydir Forest - with it’s many walks and mountain bike trails (Gwydir Mawr & Bach).

About this Holiday Cottage
Pengwern luxury self catering holiday let for 10 people. There are 5 bedrooms:
- 2 x twin rooms than can also be super king rooms (zip up beds) with wash basin
- 1 x king en-suite bedroom (shower/basin/toilet)
- 1 x king bedroom (downstairs) with use of down stairs shower/basin/toilet
- 1 x double with wash basin
There is a family bathroom and a separate toilet.
There is a large kitchen/conservatory with pool table, bar, island, TV with Netflix, and dining area. There is a Nespresso coffee machine (please bring extra Nespresso or compatible pods). The lounge feartures a log burner and TV with Netflix.
Up to 2 well behaved pets are allowed, but they are not allowed in bedrooms/upstairs or on furniture.
There is a utility area in a shed with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a games room in the shed with pool table, table tennis and table football.
Outside: There is an enclosed garden with hot tub, garden furniture and gas bbq. Parking for up to 5 cars.
The cottage has an Electric Vehicle Charging station. Contact us before arrival if you would like to use one - there is a charge for their use.
The cottage is conveniently located less than 3 miles from Betws y Coed, just on the outskirts of the market town of Llanrwst and on the border of the Snowdonia National Park with lovely views of the Conwy Valley from the garden. It is the perfect place for walkers and cyclists with numerous walks from the cottage including a lovely riverside walk into Llanrwst. The Gwydir Forest is just across the road from the cottage with endless walks and treks - from short walks such as Lady Mary's Walk and the Grey Mare's Tail waterfall walk to longer treks to Llyn Parc and beyond! The Gwydir Mawr & Bach (formerly known as the Marin) mountain biking trails are 500 metres away and there are also many forestry tracks to explore.
