The self catering properties are situated around the picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed, within the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales.
Greffyn Cottage is located in the Conwy Valley a mile to the north of Betws-y-Coed, and Orsedd Wen Farmhouse and Orsedd Wen Cottage are set high above the Conwy Valley about 4 miles to the east of Betws-y-Coed.
All properties are ideally located for exploring Snowdonia and the whole of North Wales including its tourist attractions, natural beauty and outdoor activities.
Betws-y-Coed is a popular village in a scenic location surrounded by forest, lakes and mountains. There are stone bridges and waterfalls to explore, and numerous gift shops and outdoor shops including well known names such as Cotswold Outdoor and Hawkshead. There is also a bakery/grocers where you can by food and other supplies.
The area is rich in history and Wales is famous worldwide for its castles. Conwy Castle is just down the valley where the river Conwy meets the sea, and there are also other castles to be visited at Caernarfon, Dolwyddelan and Harlech.
There are a number of steam railways in the area, and the Ffestiniog Railway, Welsh Highland Railway, Snowdon Mountain Railway and Llangollen Railway are all within easy reach.
Activities to be enjoyed include walking, climbing, horse riding, and mountain biking. The Marin Trail just a mile from Greffyn Cottage has a growing reputation among mountain bikers.
There are numerous walks ranging from hiking in the high peaks of Snowdonia to treks though forests and valleys past waterfalls and lakes. The lakes of Llyn Geirionydd and Llyn Crafnant for example are closeby.
There are numerous local golf courses including courses in Betws-y-Coed, Llandudno and Conwy, and birdwatchers can visit the local RSPB reserve at Conwy. Fishing is available on the river Conwy.
Alternatively you can just relax and take in the stunning local scenery, from the lakes and mountains of Snowdonia, to the sandy beaches of Anglesey or the Lleyn Peninsula.

The properties are all located near the village of Betws-y-Coed in the Conwy Valley in North Wales and is well connected to the UK's road network via North Wales' A55 coastal expressway which links to the M6, and the A5 from the M54. All properties have ample private parking. Detailed instructions on how to find the properties will be given on booking.
